Sad demise of Prof Dr Umesh Prasad Naik

Sadly, Prof Dr Umesh Prasad Naik passed away on Saturday March 03, 2018. He was a core founding member of Agragamee, Bhubaneswar.

Born in Talpali, Bolangir and settled at 72, Saheednagar, Bhubaneswar, he was one of the renowned pathologist. He was the youngest professor at the age of 34 and posted at Burla Medical College, Burla, Sambalpur. He served as a principal of all the three medical colleges of Odisha, named VSS Medical College, Burla, SCB Medical College, Cuttack, and MKCG Medical College, Berhampur.

He retired as Addl. Secretary to Health for Govt. of Odisha.
